3 Excellent Methods to fix a water damaged phone

Firstly:
- DO NOT plug it in. We know it’s tempting but don’t do it!
- If the phone has been wet for less than 48 hours, there is a good chance we can save it.
- If the phone fell in the ocean or the pool, the acidity decreases the chances of survival.
- Forget the rice trick everyone keeps telling you about.
- No sticking it in the freezer won't fix it either.

Method 2 - Desiccant packets
For those that aren't in America or don't have the money or are looking for a cheaper option:Begin hoarding the desiccant packets you’re already getting for free. Start now: Every time you see a loose desiccant packet in a box with a new pair of shoes, a hard drive, a shipment of spices, or whatever, pull it out and save it. Dump them all into a plastic or glass container you’re certain has an air-tight seal. After collecting a bunch of them, you have an emergency phone-rescue pod ready to go. Just drop the dunked phone into the container, seal it up, and you’ll get the same results as any of those other commercial options. If you're feeling really up to it, you could also try collecting them into an even bigger container and you have something that may be able to rescue a laptop.
Method 3 - Desiccated Kitty litter
This method is similar to the desiccant packet idea, only you will need to place the beads into a bag of some sort to prevent the beads getting stuck into ports in the phone. I would suggest old pencil cases. Some people suggest that this is also a good way to dry out a gun locker.
